Installing Typestream

Open the downloaded DMG file and drag the Typestream app icon to your Applications folder, then double-click to launch it. On first run, Typestream will prompt you to grant Accessibility permission — this is what lets it send keystrokes to other apps. Click Open System Settings from the prompt, find Typestream in Privacy & Security > Accessibility, and switch the toggle on.

Note for macOS Sequoia and later: because Typestream is distributed directly, macOS may warn that the app was downloaded from the internet. If you see this warning, control-click (or right-click) the app icon in Finder, select Open, then click Open again.
